LSD molecule necklace

LSD is perhaps the most famous of all the psychedelics. Visionaries such as Steve Jobs, Aldous Huxley and Kary Mullis openly admitted using Lysergic Acid Diethylamide as a mind expansion tool. The transcendental nature of an acid trip often makes it a truly life-changing experience.

The substance - a.k.a. "mind expander"
Lysergic Acid Diethylamide is an iconic semisynthetic psychedelic substance of the lysergamide chemical class that produces what are now considered to be "classical psychedelic" effects (i.e. those associated with mescaline, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, and DMT) when administered.
LSD was first made by Albert Hofman at the Sandoz Laboratories in Basel, Switzerland in 1938 from ergotamine, a chemical from the fungus ergot that grows on rye and other grains. The psychoactive effects of LSD were discovered in 1943, and it was introduced as a commercial medication under the trade name “Delysid” in 1947.
